Payrol accounting

If you employ staff, you have to run a payroll. Your payroll records have to comply with the applicable tax and legal regulations. deWaardKramer can help you with setting up a sound payroll system and keeping accurate payroll records. Including all the activities this involves.

Payslips

We use a state-of-the-art payroll accounting package, which will allow us to issue correct payslips to your staff (and of course to you, if applicable). You can decide whether you want to receive the payslips every period (i.e. every month or every four weeks) or only when the details change.

Payroll tax returns

We will provide you with the information you need to complete the payroll tax returns, electronically or otherwise. You can send the returns to the Tax Office yourself, or we can do this for you, in which case you will receive a copy of the return.

Year-end statements

We can prepare and submit the year-end payroll statements for your employees and the Tax Office.

Other services

We can keep you informed of the latest developments in the sphere of pay, labour law, social security and wage tax. For instance, on 1 January 2006 a number of new laws and regulations took effect which have a major impact on terms and conditions of employment and payroll accounting. Cases in point are:

  • the combined payroll tax return and the central social security database (polisadministratie)

  • electronic submission of payroll tax returns

  • the first-day return (notification of an employee's employment)

  • identity verification regulations

  • new procedures for employing and registering new staff members

  • recording private use of a company car in the payroll records

  • the new health care insurance system

  • the Act on Changes to the Tax Treatment of Early Retirement and the Introduction of Life Cycle Savings Schemes (VPL) and the life-cycle savings scheme

  • replacement of the Occupational Disability Insurance Act (WAO) by the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act (WIA).

We will inform you on all these topics and will ensure that your payroll will be processed in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements.

We can help you with drafting employment contracts, and we can assist you during audits by the Tax Office and the Employee Insurance Schemes Implementing Body (uwv). If you wish, we can also arrange for the audits to be conducted at our office, in which case we will take care of everything.
