Due diligence
Especially within the framework of the transfer and acquisition of business interests, it is essential to have the best possible grasp of a business's assets and liabilities. deWaardKramer can carry out the necessary investigations. We can also call on specialists for legal opinions on existing contracts.
Financial aspects
Financial due diligence is conducted by accountants, who examine whether the figures in the financial statements are correct, but even more importantly, check which obligations are not disclosed in the financial statements and whether these are valued appropriately.
Tax aspects
In tax due diligence we determine the tax status of a business by examining the income tax and/or corporation tax returns filed in past years as well as the VAT returns and payroll tax payments. We also establish whether the agreements with the Tax Office have been honoured, whether there are still outstanding issues with the Tax Office, and whether any disputes may arise in the future.
