Graduated from the School for Higher Education in Economics and Management (HEAO) in Alkmaar, and then studied tax law at Leiden University.
As a tax consultant Jan has gained extensive experience in complex tax (litigation) matters and tax restructuring projects for businesses. His other specialisms include the tax position of the director/major shareholder (DGA) and the relationship with his or her private limited company (pension arrangements and distribution issues).
